How We Found It
My body knew “004” was a hit from our SubmitHub portal even before my mind had consciously accepted the song. VIBE WORLD ORDER brings a track with a rattling dance beat and hypnotic vocal delivery that leaves the listener with no choice but to move.
Why We Like It
“004” by VIBE WORLD ORDER vibrates in oscillating directions but unanimously agrees to inspire movement above all else. Inspired by groups like N.E.R.D. and Gorillaz, each member of the group touches the track with a unique kiss of flavor. It’s initially hard to figure out what specific aspect of “004” is bringing the magic until taking in the full picture. Each piece is one small building block of a malleable and changing structure.
The foundation of the structure is the energetic beat produced internally by VIBE WORLD ORDER member, Reg Mason. A deep resonating baseline is layered beneath the rattle of bongo-style drums, building the beat’s home base from which various other claps, synths, snares, and samples are added and removed as the beat develops with the artists that are layered across the track.
It’s difficult to identify a primary vocalist on “004” because VIBE WORLD ORDER brings similar cadences to the versatile, high energy flows that give the rhythm consistency throughout the track. For a brief moment, the delivery pattern is sidelined with a Weeknd-esque vocal break that really opens up space for the track to breathe, before bringing the attention back into an exciting conclusion. “004” is a group-driven and varied experience that excels in its easily danceable energy, perfect for leaving any crowd wanting more from VIBE WORLD ORDER.
